As we know the Netflix is about to make TV series adaptation of the most beloved fantasy-based video-game loved by gamers around the world. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the most loved sequel of video-game loved by fans. So far we know that the video-game adaptation in movies has failed to provide the same essence which was provided in games. But as Netflix is making the TV series

Fact 1: What will be the storyline based on?

The story will be based on books written by the Andrzej Sapkowski. It will not be based on the game as the has Geralt who seems to be bit old but the TV series has adapted to the younger version of Geralt who is present in the novels. So the story of the Geralt might be from the beginning of the Witcher. The novels names are like Blood of Elves, Time of Contempt, Baptism of Fire.

Fact 2: What will be the release date of The Witcher?

The launch date is not officially confirmed but the TV series might be released at the end of 2019 we assume it to November or December 2019.

The producer and showrunner of the TV series are Lauren Schmidt Hissrich who has previously produced Daredevil, The Defenders and Umbrella Academy. She discussed bringing hope to the failure of video-games adaptations. She confirmed that the series will fan beloved bath-tub scene from the game. The story will consist of a trio in order to hunt beast within the Continent. Geralt is in a world where he thinks people are eviler than the beasts. The quest in series similar to the game will be finding and eliminating the actual evil. The story will also consist of a powerful sorceress and a young princess with some mysterious secret. Together they must be able to overcome the obstacles and evil forces in the Continent.

Fact 7: Will The Witcher be the next Game Of Thrones?

As the genre is similar to Game of Thrones the chances of it being the next GOT is high. But the story must also be consisting of some plot twists like Red wedding and walk of atonement. It must even have some creatures like dragons from GOT. And it must have some battles like Blackwater fight and Battle of  Bastards from GOT. If it has such an amazing scene it might become even better than GOT or might become something better in its own way. Anyways if it succeeds it might become one of the first milestones for video-game TV series adaptation.

Fact 8: Is it worth watching for an anime fan?

As most of the anime is based on Fantasy and Fiction anime fans might be able to relate it with this fantasy-based TV series. The most relatable anime to Witcher might be Berserk it has a similar main character with a big sword even he fights against the evil forces. And we can even see supernatural beings like fairies and witch in his team to fight against these evil forces related to his past. So it must be worth a watch for berserk fans. These some another anime which are seemed to be relatable like the goblin slayer and if the plot of witcher has successfully implemented the twists and mystery in TV series it might be even worth a watch for Attack on Titan fans.
